Tour Participation Terms (Draft v1.0)

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all guided, self-guided, private, custom and supported tours operated or arranged by GS Astuto.

2. Participant Responsibilities

  • provide accurate personal and medical information relevant to safe participation;
  • arrive on time at scheduled meeting points;
  • follow guide and staff instructions;
  • comply with Japanese laws and local customs;
  • treat fellow participants, staff and local communities with respect.

3. Fitness & Experience

Participants are responsible for selecting a tour appropriate to their physical fitness and cycling ability. GS Astuto may recommend alternative routes or activities where safety requires.

4. Safety

Safety decisions made by GS Astuto guides or staff are final while participating in the tour. Participants who create an unreasonable safety risk may be removed from part or all of the tour without refund, subject to applicable law.

5. Itinerary Changes

Routes, accommodations, meal locations, attractions, transport, departure times and daily distances may change due to weather, road closures, natural disasters, mechanical issues, participant safety, or operational requirements.

Support vehicles, equipment, accommodation & third-party services, medical emergencies, insurance, photography, environmental & cultural respect, force majeure, governing law (Japan), and acceptance of related policies apply as published by GS Astuto.
